She was born in San Francisco, but for Moira, home will always mean Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.
“The city and I have grown and progressed together. My first home in Seattle was a cozy apartment in the heart of the Pike Place Market. For me, in-city living meant having the very best of the Northwest—and in fact, the globe—at my fingertips. The freshest artisinal foods from The Market. Award winning restaurants. Art, Technology and Music that was on the precipice of transforming the world.
Then, we were a renowned regional city. Today, Seattle is the global gateway where East and West converge. Northwest CEO’s seek second homes in Shanghai, while the best and brightest from the Pacific Rim embrace Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Vancouver, BC for their cultural diversity and economic dynamism.
Seattle is international — and so is Sotheby’s International Realty’s network of 660 offices in 48 countries. Wherever my clients may be, I still have the ability to ensure that they enjoy elegant, exceptional living — and that the very best of their cities is always at their fingertips.”
Moira is a strong supporter of many of the Northwest’s most respected community service organizations, including The Seattle Art Museum, the Olympic Sculpture Park The Humane Society and Evergreen Golden Retriever Rescue.
A happy resident of one of Seattle historic lakefront neighborhoods, Moira is married to Mr. Scott Wasner.
